QuickFill Rules for Online Payees

Quicken Premier (Mac) 7.2: Bank Online downloads append payee name with other info (i.e. date). QuickFill rule for Payee then does not assign category accurately.

How do I get QuickFill to assign by Payee name and exclude appendages

You need to set up a renaming rule for the Payee in the Payee & Rules window that will change downloaded (statement) payee names to the basic name that your QuickFill rule uses.
