I updated to express web connect+ and Quicken will not download transactions to at least my checking accounts. I see nothing wrong and receive no errors.
You should not be using EWC+ for PNC checking or saving accounts. Only the CC accounts should be using EWC+. I cannot speak to the virtual checking account as I do not have.
The instructions I received from Quicken on 8/21/23 said to migrate "accounts" from Express Web Connect to Express Web Connect +. There was no distinction regarding the type of accounts.
