Drag and drop of invoices to register not working again

Drag and drop of invoices to register has been an ongoing issue. It works and then it does not. After not working for a while, it started working again two weeks ago (Aug 19, 2023). Now it is not working as of today 9/2/23. This is at least the third time this has happened.

    What exactly are you trying to do? Use an existing Customer Invoice to create a new invoice for something like a recurring purchase, subscription fee, etc?
    More details would be helpful.
