E*trade fails One Step Update

This is not a question, it's more of a heads up.
E*Trade was recently acquired by Morgan Stanley. As of 9/1/23 all old E*Trade 8-digit account numbers were changed to Morgan Stanley 9-digit account numbers and, as a result, One Step Update will no longer connect to you account.
The obvious fix is to change the account number in Quicken. That's really all you have to do. But be careful about how you enter the new account number. Morgan Stanley account numbers are presented as 123 456789, with a space between the third and fourth digits. If you enter it like that in Quicken, the update will fail. Enter the account number without the space and you should fine.

I've tried this and I still don't get any transactions downloaded from E*Trade since the conversion to Morgan Stanley. I've also tried the process of de-activating and re-activating my accounts using the new 9-digit account numbers. Doesn't work. No error messages.
