Help me identify this amount in Budget Monthly Graph view

Can someone help me understand what the "$14,021 left" in this view is supposed to represent? I understand the Spending, Budget, and Savings numbers, but I don't understand where the other number is calculated?

    That is the unspent amount from this month and the accumulated unspent amounts from previous months rolled forward.
