AmEx Credit card reconciliation is linked for sync but does not find balance

Downloading from Amex, and never experienced an issue. This morning the account was not connected. Re-connected to "existing account" in Quicken. End result was no ending balance online brought into Quicken. For some reason it is not seeing the online balance.
