I'm using Quicken Classic for Windows, updated to R53.17, Canadian. When I use One Step Update it freezes the program including Windows. I only download stock quotes and have no connected bank accts. It stops at "Receiving Quotes" and just cycles. Last successful update was Nov 24 at 12:30. I have signed out of the database and signed back in with no success.
Any suggestions?
- The problem is resolved.
- I validated the file and found no issues.
- I restarted PC.
- The stock prices finally updated but the process was taking 5 minutes.
- I went through the Security list and made sure only current stock prices were downloaded.
- I ran Sync which took 2 minutes to complete.
- I ran One Step Update and it breezed through. Back to normal😀
