Quicken Classic Premier crashes soon after starting the program

After upgrading to the premier version of quicken, the program will not function. It crashes as soon as I try using it. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program and validating the the data file, with no effect. Have also checked windows (Windows 10, 64bit) installation for corruption using sfc /scannow.

Try to open without a data file. Create a new blank file and if that seems to work, your data file is probably corrupted.
You would want to restore a backup from before the problem began.
Step 4: Try opening Quicken without a data file.
To do this, hold Ctrl + Shift on your keyboard and double-click the Quicken icon. Note: You will need to continue to hold Ctrl + Shift until Quicken opens with a blank screen.Nov 2, 20230
