Merrill Lynch Investment Account - cannot turnoff Placeholders

This is the second time in a year I have had this problem.

One of my ML investment accounts keeps adding placeholders after each update. Last time I was instructed to go to:

Edit>Preferences>Downloaded Transactions

Then look in menu to "compare account portfolio after download" and ago to settings button.

Both of my ML accounts are not selected.

Is there something else I can do to stop this comparison and adding automatic placeholders as this above is not stopping the issue.
