If I have entered a debit transaction, which then is reconcile with the wrong date, does it mess up my file if I add it again on the correct date, delete the previous (reconciled transaction) and manually reconcile the new one with the correct date. I have done that a couple of times. Now I cannot find why I cannot reconcile this month's bank statement. Did my actions cause a (hidden) problem with my previously reconciled transaction?

Just change the transaction's date to the correct date and you should be all set.

I'm using a Mac with Quicken Classic Deluxe Version 7.3.2.
