Currently "Quicken Classic Starter" on Windows... moving to Mac

Options

So I currently have an annual "Quicken Classic Starter" account on my Windows PC. I just bought a MacBook Pro and would like to migrate my finances to my new laptop. How do I do this? Can I install Quicken for Mac on my Macbook and load my .QDF file? Do I have to change my Annual Subscription? Please advise.

You don't have to change your subscription, it's good for both Mac and Windows. You can download the Mac software here (click on the "I'm installing or reinstalling Quicken Classic" link).

You can't open your QDF file directly in Quicken Mac, you have to convert it first. You can find instructions for doing that here:

I am in a similar situation and am running both Quicken for Windows and Quicken for Mac in parallel.

Quicken for Windows has many features thar Quicken for Max does yet have.

Suggest you investigate this before making a final decision. Sticking with Quicken for Windows as my go to version, there is still lots of catching up to do.
