Reconciling account and the beginning balance is off by over $4,500

This has been happening constantly lately. I'm having to extract my register and try to figure out what's missing, doing a manual reconciliation. It's ridiculous.

Is it possible to mark multiple transactions as reconciled vs. changing them one by one? I've found a bunch of old transactions that were switched from reconciled to just cleared just now.
