Quicken classic for Mac customizable keyboard shortcuts? & Decimal placement problem
I recently bought a new Mac and updated from Quicken 2007 to the current version of Q Classic. So far so good. But I miss a few things. In Q 2007, I was able to create keyboard shortcuts, e.g., I could assign a shortcut to each account or to menu commands that didn't have default shortcuts. Is that possible in Quicken Classic Premier? Also, I checked the box in the preferences to "Automatically insert decimal point (924 becomes 9.24)" but it doesn't work whether checked or unchecked; I have to type the decimal point for every entry that has cents. Is that a glitch or am I missing something? Thanks in advance for any help on these two issues.

You can create your own keyboard shortcuts in macOS for any function that is reachable via a menu-bar menu. See this:
The predefined keyboard shortcuts can be found here:
Unfortunately, the accounts are not listed in the Accounts menu, so you can't use the built in macOS keyboard assign method for these. I've been asking for this for a long time; not sure it will ever happen. I made a workaround for this using Keyboard Maestro ($36):
There's an Idea post about keyboard shortcuts to switch accounts:

I've never used the auto decimal point feature before, but just tried it and it seems to be working for me. The only thing that I can think of that may be related is in macOS Settings > General > Language & Region, what region and number format do you have set?

I finally got around to looking at the Language and Region setting as you suggested. I changed the format to the US version and the decimal placement problem went away!! So, it looks like when you set the system pref to the Euro setting, e.g. 1.234,56 the automatic decimal insertion is not functional. Thanks for your help. It was SOOOO annoying to have to insert the comma every time. Now I hope they'll fix it because since half my accounts are in Euros, I'd prefer to use the Euro setting. Or even better, I wish choosing the type of decimal sign for each account was available. Surely I'm not the only person with accounts in different currencies who would like this.

I see you already created an Idea topic for this. That's about all you can do.
