Another choice needed for a security's Cost Basis

My FI offers me the option of Average Cost Basis and that is my choice there. Quicken does not offer this choice so my gains upon a sale are inconsistent between the FI's reporting and Quicken. This limits Quicken's utility in tax planning. I suggest that Quicken offer ACB as an additional user choice. Thx.

Note: If your security is a mutual fund, then the feature is already offered.

    Mutual Funds can be assigned average cost basis in Quicken. If your security is a mutual fund, the feature is available now. The use of average cost for other securities is limited by IRS rules and not widely available.
