Quicken 2013 for Windows now has bugs, exactly 1 year after download
I used 2006 until last January, when I upgraded to the free download of 2013 in order to have a file format that could, if needed, be imported into the current subscription version. I downloaded the free 2013 version on 1/7/2023. All was perfect, until today. Yes, exactly one year and one day after the download. On Windows 11, by the way.
2013 is having date-related issues. Reports set for "last year" display 2012 transactions. Editing dates on transactions freezes up. I've got a clean backup from yesterday, safe and sound in several locations, so I'm not panicking. Just need to move forward.
Does the download only work for a year?
I'm a little wary of buying a CD off eBay or somewhere, but now balancing that against having to install and learn the subscription version. Yuck.

To ask it a different way:
1-Has anyone used the download version successfully for more than a year?
2-Is the download version just intended for the short-term purpose of opening an earlier version to convert it to a format acceptable to the subscription version?
