Incorrect Share Balance displayed after opening security purchase

Quicken for Windows, Vanguard 401K retirement Account.

Initial purchase of 2 securities (with sufficient cash balance in account) results in incorrect share balance (see screenshot). Any ideas why? Subsequent purchases add to this balance correctly, but have not found a way to correct initial share purchase balance.
