Ctl+W Write Check stopped working

Ctl+W to pop up writing checks worked fine for 20 years, but in recent months quit working. I found no solution through Quicken support, so I researched how Ctl+W works or fails in other programs. There I found the solution. If you have "Samsung Magician" software for Samsung hard drives on your computer (mine is Windows 10), it automatically starts when you boot and seems to block Ctl+W in Quicken. Samsung Magician is probably in the "Hidden Icons" pull-up in your System Tray at the bottom of the screen. Open it and then close it and Ctl+W works again.
