Transactions From Vanguard Not Importing Correctly -Shows Double

This is not only Vanguard , it did it with my employer 401k at Fidelity also.

It is showing double amounts after exchanging investments. Look at below.
I had 11k of VBIAX fund in Roth IRA (251 shares at $44)
I sold it
Next day I buy 28 shares of MSFT stock for almost same amount.
Instead of showing a hold→sell→buy of same amount, it shows double (22,000) for the amount now of this account. !!

Why is it not correct on import?
