Reconcile

I've been using Quicken for Mac for over a year. Like the app very much. However several times I have not reconciled correctly and have to make an adjustment - about three times so far for about $20 each time.

I download most of the transactions from my bank using the QFX files. I do download like every couple of days the current transactions. They appear to match up but I still have to make the adjustment. What is going on? Appreciate your thoughts or solutions.

When you reconcile, instead of reconciling to the online balance (which is what it sounds like you're doing) and instead reconcile to the bank statement. That way you should be able to find the missing or incorrect transactions and make your Quicken register match up with the bank records without having to make an adjustment.
