Damaged data block - Resolved

I am so happy today.
Last August I found I had many "Damaged data block" entries when I ran the "Validate and Repair" or even the super version. I read all the other posts in the Quicken Community. The only solution was to go back to a "good" backup. In my case, it was May 30, 2023. Since then I have tried several options. I tried to start with the backup, and then get some export QIF for the dates through today.
Today I had a new epiphany, and did a Copy
Note that this gives a warning that you will need to reattach the various accounts.
After creating the copy, I selected the option to just open the copy. Then I re-associated all my accounts for doing the one step update.
I then did a Validate….NO "Damaged data block" in the report.
For all of you that have experienced this issue, I hope that this helps avoid having to reenter months of data.
Happy Day for us all!
