I sent a bill to quicken to by paid by check but it did not show up in my check register as in processing. I have no idea if payment request went thru to quicken.
Found it. Check recent activity box and payments and status show up on right of screen. I was able to cancel one of the duplicate payments

There is no payment status link on the bills and income tab page
