How do I turn off automatic categorization after download?

Hi folks, I have found that Quicken is not very good at categorizing items automatically and I just want to turn it off because it is more pain that it is worth. But I don't seem to be able to figure out how to do that. I would think this would do it but it is not

    go to the Memorized Payee list and delete those. (CNTL-T)
