I cannot write a check on Quicken. The item to click is faded. what can I do?

    What “item to click”?

    From what sort of account are you trying to write a check?

    you select a transaction in the Register -
    then the Check Number column pulldown menu —→ Print Check -
    then…. File —> Print Checks -
