Cannot open the application after failing to update

Quicken Windows Subscription Member
I tried to install the update (don't know which version, but the latest one) and it told me the update failed due to an error. And….. I cannot open the application. I've tried to restart my computer 3 times and still cannot open the application. anyone run into this issue with the update? What's the solution?

What kind of error message did you get?
What happens when you try to start Quicken?
Some more details would really be helpful.0 -
(1) the error message said the update failed.
(2) I clicked the application, and it showed it was attempting to open, but nothing opened. and that's it.
(3) I contacted customer services through the chat function and they let me install a patch. After that, I can open the application.
