Problems with Fidelity NetBenefits downloads - mixing up securities

New to the forum. I searched on Fidelity and didn't see this issue. If it has been dealt with, please point me to it.

Among the mutual funds in my Fidelity 401(k) account are Fidelity 500 Index Fund and Fidelity Mid Cap Index. When purchases download, it is trying to make the purchases for the wrong security. For example, the download wants to assign a Fidelity 500 purchase to Fidelity Mid Cap.

I've triple-checked and I have the correct stock symbols assigned to the funds.

Any ideas how to fix this?

Be sure you have a current backup. Just in case.

In all likelihood, you have the securities mis-matched.

Edit the Security Details for each security

Uncheck the box about Matched with Online security.

When both are unchecked, from the Transaction List for the account, Actions gear icon (Ctrl-Shift-N); Select Reconcile Shares

That should create the opportunity to rematch each of the two securities as provided by Fidelity to your two securities in Quicken.

    Hope this Helps

    First - thanks.

We'll find out on payday at the end of the week and see if it worked.
