Scan from Canon Pixma printer

Been scanning receipts directly into Quicken transactions for years with an HP printer/scanner. Replaced the HP with a Canon Pixma TR8620 and haven't figured out how to do that using Canon scanning software. Anyone experience the same issue and any suggestions?
