How do I get rid of "hourglass" entries?

On a recent Quicken Classic update, I was offered, and opted to include, something like, "pending transactions". I thought that after the actual transactions appeared they would go away — they don't. (They seem to work about as well as "match to downloaded transaction" does.) Where is the setting to opt out of this annoyance?

    TOOLS/Pending Transactions………….Turn Off

    Windows 11 (2 separate computers)..... Quicken Premier.. HAVE USED QUICKEN CONTINUOUSLY SINCE 1985.
