Membership Expired banners

I am so disappointed with Quicken and their placement of these large Expired Banners that take up 1/3 of my viewing screen. I have used Quicken software for my home checkbook since the 1990s!!! I don't use any of the online banking portions; I only use Quicken to manually enter and track my home checkbook. I used to be able to update the software for a one-time fee. The last time I updated my software, I was told I could still do this…I could continue using Quicken without annual membership fees. You neglected to say there were consequences….Ugly HUGE banners that won't ever go away and take up 1/3 of my viewing screen making it difficult to work with. This is ridiculous what you are doing to your longtime customers and supporters!

I get that in today's time, you want an annual fee from all your users. Well, what about a much less expensive fee for those of us just using the basic portion of Quicken without any online banking options? I would be willing to pay a SMALL annual fee. If that can't be done, I think I will have to look for another program because every time I open Quicken now, I just get angry.

You used to be a company with a product that I referred my family, friends and business associates to, but not anymore.

We've seen renewal licenses go on sale at prices much better than buying them from Quicken. Twice now this year, I've seen sales at newegg where Deluxe is $32, Premier is $42. Make sure it's a renewal license, not a license for new users.

You mention you're willing to pay a small annual fee. $32 seems pretty small to me (62 cents a week) if all you need is Deluxe. Be patient and look for better prices.

There are Quicken sales going on right now on newegg. I think today (7/27) is the last day of the current sale, but this would be the third time just this year newegg has licenses discounted.
