Investment Transaction Not Recording Properly

I sold all of my shares in a mutual fund. Cash properly increased, but the shares of the mutual fund were not affected. Shares should now be zero, but they are still showing. My total portfolio value is now overstated by the mutual fund.

Running Quicken Mac version 7.8.2 (Build 708.53926.100), MacOS 14.5

If the account is set up for online access then the mutual fund shares might not drop to zero until the sale settles, which should happen the day after the sale.

This sale settled back on the 29th.
