Account List amount doesn't match register

Windows Classic Version R54.16; Build 27.1.54.16

The setting for the account list is Show Current Balance in Account Bar. The account list balance doesn't match any of the totals in the account, i.e., Current Balance, Online Balance or Ending Balance.
If I change the account list setting to: Show Ending Balance in Account Bar, it shows a different wrong balance,
If I change the account list setting to: Show Savings Goal transactions…, the balance in the account list will match the Current Balance or Ending Balance accurately depending on my setting. If I change it back again to not show savings goal txns, it returns the incorrect balance in the account list.
