Can't update Wells-Fargo

R59.6 on win10: my wells-fargo account has a little envelope next to it telling me that I have 1 online payment to make and 3 transactions to download. But when I have it update the account, nothing happens — that is, the pending items are still sitting there pending. Must be a problem with W-F, but i find it odd that it can contact W-F sufficiently to know there are three transactions to download but can't/won't do it.

    The 59 release appears to have introduced bugs. I spent 3 hours today online with customer support which did NOT resolve the issue. Finally, what I ended up doing was going back and reinstalling release 58.9. Unfortunately, I also had to recover a data file from BEFORE the issue where I got the flag saying I had 1 online payment to be sent when there are none. Otherwise, it would NOT work. Between the Wells Fargo issue with alleged pending online payments and the Citi Bank card issues (they apparently fixed the Costco card issue but my Citi American Airlines Advantage card still fails and puts me in the endless authorization loop) there was apparently insufficient regression testing before elevating the releases. Wasted too much time in the past week. They should just restore release 58.9 and go back to the drawing board with the 59 releases.

    Quicken and Wells Fargo connection is a disaster. Spent hours daily for over 5 days, they finally connected. Now I can't open a web account on another of my computers (home).

    The cloud sync doesn't work as described.

    Have you installed the latest set of fixes yet? R 59.10 is available. Download and install the latest Manual Patch file from

    Can't promise that it'll fix your WF problems, but we'll never know what bug the programmers fixed in 59.10 … they aren't telling …

    I synced with Wells Fargo today at 6:48am ET without issue. I would restore a known-good data file.

    Received "error has occurred" but no information regarding the error for Wells Fargo update. I am using R59.10 The error appears just after the dialog shows "updating financial institution information"

    This just started this morning ~ 0800 EDT (10/17/24) Wells Advisors works just fine.

    had same issue as johnodrake earlier this am; think it was a WF prob not Q, and it appears to be fixed now

    Quicken R59.18 Windows 11 Version 24H2

    I've been downloading Wells Fargo account data via "Download Account Activity" on the Wells Fargo website. Each time I did so Quicken advised activating Direct Connect. I finally activated Direct Connect (again) today. Quicken went through the update download access process and reported zero transactions. I then went into Wells Fargo and used their download account activity to get a .qfx file. When Quicken File Import opened it there were two transactions to be accepted.
