RE-OPENED Is there a way to set & forget report column widths, either by default or a saved report?

I'm re-opening this discussion from Jan. 20, that was closed without answer or resolution.

Here are some of the comments:

If there are no user settings to handle this then I'd find it hard to believe that the default widths of the columns are optimal for the most number of users and this then becomes a complaint.

One of the many FOREVER bugs that make me despise Quicken. Every freaking time I change a report, or a report updates from a transaction change, the columns change to totally inane widths.

For myself, this has wasted untold hours over 30 years!

For what its worth, I would second this as I just came in looking for a way to not have the Date disappear while the Tag field which I don't use is crazy wide on every default report.
