Errors in downloading transactions
Quicken subscription plan, Windows, R59.18, Build 27.1.59.18
In the past few weeks, with some linked accounts [e.g. Chase credit card, CapitalOne credit card], I will enter a transaction manually in advance of the transaction being available to download. Upon download of the transactions, the manually- entered transactions are deleted. My Quicken data file is at least 15 years old, and I want to maintain a single file if possible, but I have heard that I have to start over with a new [smaller] file to correct the issue. Any suggestions on other fixes?

Who told you that you need a new data file?…Quicken Support? My data file is approaching 30 years old. Have you run Validate and Super Validate to check the integrity of your existing file? Do you have Ahto Reconcile enabled?

Quicken Support told me I needed to archive my existing file and start over (I did not do this).
I have run validate 5 or 6 times to clear all errors (except some stock splits that are over 10 years old); how do you run 'Super Validate'?
Not sure what 'Ahto [Auto?] Reconcile' is…
