Quicken on Windows and Mac

Hi there,

I have Quicken Classic subscription (Canadian version), and so far I've used only the Windows version. Some of the accounts (not all) are also synced to Quicken Cloud. I recently started to use a Mac, and I was looking for options to use Quicken on Mac as well, but still having Windows as the main go to option.

I know that the Quicken file formats of the two OSes are not compatible with each other, but I was wondering if the transactions from one OS will synchronize to the other via Quicken Cloud, if the account is synced to the cloud, and if there would be any problems with this setup (duplicated or currupted transactions, etc.).

No, you can't use Quicken Cloud to sync transactions back & forth between multiple computers. If you want to keep Quicken Windows as your main Quicken then the only real option is to use Quicken on the Web from your Mac.
