Reconciliation fails yet all reported transactions are present and correct

I am reconciling a CITI bank Credit card. It was fully reconciled on 9/19/24.

I am attempting to reconcile my 10/18/24 statement. It reports a $773.73 variance in charges. Payments are correct and charges are correct.

I manually checked CITI statement charges to the Quicken register and ALL are present and checked. Yet it reports the variance.

A visual check of the Quicken CITI register shows no OLD transactions as uncleared.

What is wrong and how do I clear this?

Other Quicken accounts reconcile OK.

    Did you check to see if the account register's Opening Balance transaction is still correct?
    When you Sync to the Cloud or have to reactivate / reauthorize your account, this transaction may on occasion be incorrectly recalculated … yes, it's a bug and the programmers are still banging their heads on the wall … 😀

    Edit the Opening Balance transaction and change the amount to what it should have been. Also save the correct amount in the transaction's Memo field, for easier comparison if that should happen again.
