Quicken folders/files in the wrong place?

I am using version R60.15, build 27.1.60.15 and believe my quicken files are on my c: drive are in the wrong place. Currently my file folders are located as follows:

Program files (x86):

Quicken folder, certs folder, locales folder, PDF drive folder, Qsapi folder, RPMmigration folder, screenshare folder, snap folder and sounds folder.

In my users folder:

Quicken folder (includes qdf.data file), Backup folder, GPUcache folder, inet folder and validate folder.

Are these in the right place and order? Thanks

From what you describe, Quicken is installed correctly. Why do you believe these folders are wrong?

    GeoffG,

Thanks for responding. I had difficulty reinstalling my quicken data from my backup after my reinstall didn't work. As a result, I reinstalled quicken, then removed it via control panel and then did a registry search for all links of the program and deleted those. Once reinstalled with the most current program patch I was able to recover my data but found mutiple quicken folders on my PC some of which I deleted as they appeared to be extra. Ever since then my program runs but very slowly. I also found after downloading my banking transactions that the quicken program seems to ratchet through the files almost like fanning a deck of cards. It eventually works but lead me to believe that something was out of place.

Not sure what happened with your install, but the total removal of various Quicken components and folders may be impacting your current setup. I would suggest reaching out to Quicken support only from the link provided above and have them check your system. That should be able to look at your setup and fix whatever issues you are experiencing.
