ADD/REMOVE Shares has BROKEN

Online accounts need their shares updated to match the brokerage. When I ADD Shares, Quicken subtracts the shares from the account. When I REMOVE shares, Quicken adds the shares. This has worked fine in the past. This is a new BUG.

Quicken, at your subscription rates, this needs to be fixed right away!

This is usually cause by a Placeholder transaction that's gone wrong. Search the register for "placeholder" and delete the transactions corresponding to the security. That will likely fix the issue.

BTW, don't blame Quicken. It's more likely caused by the brokerage transmitting the incorrect share balance.
