The Lifehub offer freezes the ability to do anything without a close button.

Often when I open the quicken application I am given a pop-up about Lifehub without a way to close it. either the advertisement window is so big that it covers the little x in the corner or they are forcing you to look at the offer in order to close the advertisement. I pay for a subscription to not have additional advertisements. I have to end task on the whole application, and reopen it again just to use my quicken application. Please stop forcing lifehub advertisements and providing no clear way to close them.

Same annoying issue. Disappointing a day or two after the CEO blurb about how wonderful they are arrived in my mailbox. Make it stop Quicken!

Strange; I have never seen this ad.

Windows itself allows ways of closing windows. The first thing I would try is CTRL-F4. If that fails, try ALT-F4. If that fails (or kills Quicken), try ALT-Space, M and move the window with the arrow keys then Enter so you can see the closing X.
