Investment Register View

Question

Starting January 2025 when I download I see only the downloads, not the register above, for investments.  I'm not able to edit those downloads, or just re-enter the information the way I want it (some accounts don't download re-investment side of dividends).  Bank accounts still display downloads with the register visible above making it easy to add categories and memos.  How can I get the old view back?  Can't find any adjustment under edit for investments or register or downloaded transactions.

Checked account settings, per Volvogirl's suggestion, and found it already set to complete.  Register remains unavailable, apparently out-of-sight, above the downloaded transactions.

I have found a puzzling fix.  I had view set for "large fonts" which my elderly eyes really need.  Just as an experiment I set it back to normal fonts and the full view reappeared.  Yippee.  Then, because I really like the large fonts, I set it back to large and - here's the puzzle - I still get the full view with the larger fonts.  Sadly I find I need to do this large-font-off-then-back-on each time I access an account with downloads.

I'd still like to find a permanent solution.

See if the Account is using the "Simple" investing method as opposed to the "Complete" method where each transaction gets listed. Sometimes Quicken flips a user's preferences, for unknown reasons.

To see transactions in your investment register you need to use the Complex setting.  To change, go to the Settings button and edit the account details to change from Simple to Complete.

Just noticed that when I reopen Quicken and go to an investment account with downloaded transactions it comes up with register on top and transactions on bottom, for about 1 second, then switches to view of downloads only.  I want to see the original view with both register and download windows showing at same time.  Should have also added "register" tag, but don't know how to edit my question.  Hopeful I can get some help.  Right now I can't access register view at all for investments with downloads . . . maybe if I delete them all?  But I appreciate downloading as one of Quicken's most helpful features.  😰
