VENMO and Apple Pay

I have used both VENMO and Apple Pay for transactions that require categorization to maintain my tax records and I have found that they both have wrecked my accounting!

It is next to impossible to track the cash flow from the checking accounts to VENMO or Apple Pay to the vendor and back from the vendor to VENMO or APPLE Pay and back to my checking accounts.

Balances are all messed up and it is very hard to find the issues. Very frustrating!

Has anyone found a work around?
