Chase self-direct: amt on sidebar no longer match portfolio total

(Windows Quicken Classic)
I have a Chase self-direct investment account, which sync directly with my Chase account. The total value number shown on the Account sidebar on the left side of the program has always matched the total value of my portfolio, until recently.
If I look at the account in Quicken, the total Securities Value, Cash Balance, and the combined Total Market Value (X) are identical to what I am seeing online at Chase. This means sync with Chase is working fine. But the one number next to my account on the left sidebar is Y.
I have a recurring automatic transfer from my checking account into this investment account, and the amount is set at Z. What's more interesting is Y - X = Z.
I don't know how to correct this, because when I look at the holdings inside this account, the securities and cash amounts match exactly as online, there isn't an excess Z, yet on the left sidebar it's showing an excess amount of Z.

Try right clicking on the Account Bar to see if amount shown is current balance or ending balance. FYI the AccountvBar is the list of accounts normally docked on the left side of the Quicken window.

hey, I never knew I could right click. but changing between ending / current balances, the amount next to it doesn't change. still showing a difference of Z, even after today's crazy market rally, where every security value is pulled from Chase correctly.
