Budget rollovers for new year

Member ✭✭✭

In budgets, I want to rollover for each month but not into the next year. Currently I have to delete rollovers in every budgeted category in December to prevent them rolling over into the new year. I see an option to "undo all rollover edits…" but it is grayed out. Is there a more convenient way to do this?

I created my 2025 budget by simply extending the existing budget table into the next year.

In the Annual View click ">" to do so. There's no need to create a new budget table under a different name from scratch.

IIRC, reviewing my categories, only a few of them had to have their January 2025 entries changed to set rollover to 0.00

Thank you but that's not my problem. I always copy the budget as you suggest, but it carries over budgeted ACTUALS into the new year. So if I had $1000 left unspent in "travel" with a $10,000 budget for 2024, now my budget shows $11,000 for 2025. If I had OVER spent by $1000, the 2025 budget for travel is $900.

I don't want to roll over actuals into the new year. So I have to manually deactivate the rollover function for every category for December 2024. It's time consuming and there should be a way to apply it (or remove it) to all categories.
