Wow Duplicate entries not cleared going back to 2020 and 2021 on latest update

What a mess I have. Hadn't updated since 12/13/2024. A bank account shows huge negative balance like -$30k which has never been negative it is usually about +a few thousand as it actually is per bank. A PNC savings has an extra about $30k and other issues. Some of the duplicates are transfers between but the separate investment account has other messes that are wrong only after the current update.
I did a log out and redo password as if starting new account as I found via search. Same problem. I reloaded a back up and saved adding "copy" ahead of it…. This file goes back to 2015 when I started a new file closing out one going back many years before 2015. I have lots of transactions, in addition have 9 credit card accounts and one is wrong and 3 have "temporary server errors" AFTER the update shows "Updated" but they are not.
It took about an hour to reload the database or whatever it did since I now looked like a new user (Win 10 with a fast processor, etc., and 32 Gigs of memory).
The backup was correct as of 12/13/2024.But updating redid the way wrong entries going back to 2020 and 2021 were marketed as "not cleared." I deleted the two of them that were large and am now back to the correct balance in the bank account.
For the investment brokerage account there are like 10 such entries. Why on earth did the latest update add these duplicating various entries from 2020 and 2022. Will it keep redoing the errors on every update? It was nice to have about $30k more in my investment account but it was caused by the duplicate only done on the Quicken 1/12/2025 update and was correct as of 12/13/2024 and the entries were dated from 2020 and 2021!!
