If I login to my Tangerine account through the bank's interface, and download the QFX file (which guarantees me the latest data), why do I get this error message when attempting to import into Quicken. I have tried to do this in a new instance of a Quicken file and get the same error.
I have had consistent issues with the Quicken Connect method. These issues require me to 2FA continually for 2 accounts up to 6 times, sometimes multiple times per week. I am tired of this and would rather just download the data from the bank directly and import the provided QFX file.
How do I make this work for Tangerine bank?
I am happy to manually edit the <FI> </FI> string or other hacks that allow me to get those transactions and move them manually into the right accounts. That is still easier than constantly re-adding my credentials and 2FA'ing over and over…
The issues I have with Tangerine bank and Quicken stem from GIC accounts that come and go as they come to term, and this changes the ordering of my accounts and seems to trip up Quicken often requiring re-adding EVERYTHING. I've done troubleshooting with Quicken support multiple times around this. The answere is always rip and replace the account info and this is super tedious, esp for 2 accounts, with multiple 2FA's required.
I want to import a QFX file. How can I work around the above error since I can see the data in the file!
Thanks for any help. This is super frustrating. I've read the CC-885 error pages but it doesn't help. Surely you can import the data that exists in that QFX file somehow!
