Why won't Payee automatically capitalize? (Q Mac)

I'm running version 8.01 on a Mac with macOS 14.6.1.

I've used Quicken for years. First on windows and the last 3 - 4 years on a Mac. in windows when I type in a Payee it automatically capitalized the name. Can't get the Mac version to do this. Is this not something that can be added?

That's not a feature of QMac … what you enter is what it is. On the plus side, vs QWin, if you go to Window > Payees you can rename or merge payees there, so if you have a bunch of similar names over time, you can collapse them to one, and/or correct the spelling/capitalization etc.

If the Payee is one you use frequently, define a QuickFill rule for faster data entry, or a renaming rule if the payee is one that gets downloaded.

Understand all the above. Just would like this to be made an option on QMac. I think you can turn it on and off in QWin.

To request that something new be added, you'll need to post to the Ideas forum for Mac Classic here:
