Drop down Payee List is all Highlighted Blue

Don't know if this is considered** Quickfill or Autocomplete or Payee List Drop Down.
This is on a Windows PC, Windows 11, Version R60.20, Build 27.1.60.20.
Normally as you start typing an entry in the Payee field you get a list of previous Payees and you can use the arrow key to move down through the list to select the desired Payee with each highlighted in blue. This issue results in the entire list highlighted blue making it near impossible to use the feature. This is annoying for people who use Quicken a lot. The only fix I have found is restarting the program (not optimal at all).
Also, there should be a way to edit this list easily so there aren't so many duplicates of the same Payee and the most commonly used ones are listed first.
Others have continually reported this problem and it never gets fixed in new Releases, yet we all continuing paying an annual subscription fee.
**This is one major problem for users trying to convey issues because there is no Master reference list to provide the names of certain features. It creates a Tower of Babel issue.

It would be titled the "Memorized Payee List" and I'm not experiencing any issues with it. It performs as expected. And, I don't recall any others having this issue. But, something is corrupt and you must troubleshoot it. If restarting the program resolves the issue I would suspect the data file access. Have you tried logging off and logging back on to your Quicken account?

I originally had my quicken files in my OneDrive folder for safe keeping, and after moving them to my PC I no longer have this issue. It's been a week not happening. Previously it was hours.

Have tried just about everything. It goes away when I restart the program and then eventually comes back. I also get occasional false download flags - mainly on investment accounts. Been using Quicken since the 1980's - The data file size is out of control.

@Spickel My datafile is on my local drive. Thanks though.

Well, your Onedrive/Documents folder is also on the local drive. So just stating that "My datafile is on my local drive." doesn't mean anything. Make sure your data file is not in a Onedrive server syncing path on the local drive. Paste your complete path here if you are not sure.
