Unable to close account (Q Mac)

I recently closed a credit card account. When I try to close it on Quicken B&P I get this message:

Yet, I don't believe there are any future transactions. I have reconciled and have a zero balance.

Go to the register and click the tiny clock icon at upper right. Select "Next One Due". Check the end/top of the register. This will tell you if there are any future dated transactions (those above/below the green line).

Next, sort the register by Check# and scan through making sure there are no "send" or similar entries in that column.

If neither of these reveal the problem, you can just go to the account's settings and disconnect downloads. You've already verified that the balance is zero and that's pretty much all closing the account does. After disconnecting downloads, you may be able to mark the account closed. But if not, it may not really matter.

Bingo! That did it. There was a scheduled transaction I never even realized I scheduled.

    Thank you!
