Old address book attachments can't be viewed or deleted.

I have some old Address book Documents that I would like to delete. Quicken is ignoring the delete operation. I suspect that the Documents do not exist in Quicken. But I can't determine where Quicken stores them and if they are included in the Quicken backups. Newly added documents can be retrieved and deleted. Any suggestions how to clear older documents from the Quicken Address Book?

What about deleting the Address Book entry and then recreating it?

That's what I did. Good suggestion.

Also, I attached a document and then renamed the source to make sure that Quicken is actually attaching the file and not just pointing to it. I was able to view the document in Quicken.

I copied just the datafile with the new document to another computer and was able to view the document with Quicken on the other computer. So Quicken must be truly be attaching the document into the datafile. Therefore the document is getting backed up.
