Vanguard Direct vs Web Connect and Complete vs Simple Tracking

Prior to 3/8 I had disconnected Quicken from Vanguard Direct Connect and instead was downloading transactions from Vanguard website, then importing them to Quicken. On 3/8 I reconnected to Vanguard using their new web connect interface. Like others, my tracking method was switched from complex to simple, which suppresses the ability to view the transaction register. From reading comments, it seems that users who had not disconnected from Direct Connect, as of 3/8 were able to use one step update and obtain proper transaction data without getting changed from complex to simple tracking. So my question is: Is there anyway for those of us who disconnected Quicken from Vanguard to re-establish a connection that allows us to switch back to complex tracking? If not now, then when?
