Check-printing alignment not being saved

I have used Quicken on my Mac for many years. I use an HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP477fdw to print checks. I use a wallet check which does not have a stub, so I adjust the alignment to print my checks correctly. Quicken has always saved the adjust alignment settings so I can set them once and forget it. Just recently Quicken is resetting the alignment adjustment to default (x=0 and y=0) after every check. I am using Quicken Classic Deluxe version 8.1.1, build 801.56891.100, and Mac OS 15.3.1. Neither call-in chat support nor call-in live voice support were able to help, even after escalation, resetting the printer, etc. Any suggestions? This seems like a small code glitch. Maybe I need to re-download Quicken?

Quicken- (and Quickbooks-) compatible Wallet checks come 3 checks to a sheet, with a stub on the left and a filler strip at the bottom, to give you a full 8.5*11" sheet.

What do your checks look like? Please provide an image, making sure to black out personal information.

If they don't have a stub on the left, how do you feed one of your full sheets into the printer, to make it align properly?

And, what adjustment values do you have to set to make it work?

It looks to me like those printer settings are saved in your Quicken data file, so reinstalling the app is unlikely to fix anything. I don't know what would.
